The USA Hockey Club of Michigan House Hockey League teaches children ages 4-14 the fundamentals of ice hockey and concepts of team play. Youth players at any level are welcome to join the house league. All players, regardless of skill or experience, will receive equal playing time. The objective of the league is to teach strong fundamental skills, while building a sense of teamwork and game strategy.

The program centers on skill and team development and to encourage confidence and self-esteem in each participant both on and off the ice. The USA Hockey Club of Michigan will be following the rules, regulations and guidelines of USA Hockey.

Programs are offered at the Mini-mite (5-6), Mite (7-8), Squirt (9-10),  
Peewee (11-12) and Bantam (13 - 14) age levels.

The mini-mite and mite divisions will follow USA Hockey "American Development Model" guidelines.
